HAÇIENDA CLASSICAL
The acclaimed Haçienda Classical is a groundbreaking musical project that combines the spirit of the club with the timeless sounds of classic dance tracks carefully curated by Resident Dj Graeme Park alongside the power of a Manchester Camerata Orchestra alongside vocalists and special guests to perform these reinterpretations of iconic dance anthems from the late 1980s and early 1990s with orchestral arrangements, creating an electrifying not to be missed experience.
Now into its ninth year, Haçienda Classical concerts have brought together a mixed crowd and lively atmosphere at events which sees the set played as a continuous live Dj mix where vocalists, choir orchestra and guests all combine and bring the classic records to life. Bringing the euphoria of The Hacienda to new environments. The show has performed multiple sold out shows at Londons Royal Albert Hall, Manchesters Castlefield Bowl , The Warehouse Project numerous arenas as well as headline festival appearances including the Isle of Wight festival twice , Kendal Calling Twice and opening Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage in 2017 with saw the biggest crowd assembled at the stage for a opening act.
The show has outperformed any expectations at the outset and has had tremendous reactions from audiences and critics such as NME called it “Probably teh best rave since 1997” whilst Mixmag termed the event “A near two hour blend of house music’s greatest players with a audience dancing and singing from the off”
